About Stake

This review covers stake.com. Stake is run by Medium Rare N.V., a Curaçao company (registration number 145353) at Seru Loraweg 17 B, Curaçao. The company was established in 2017. It holds Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/1451/0918, which the regulator's certificate showed as active on 14 October 2026. The regulator's licence register, last updated 12 October 2026, lists the licence with the status "Assessment in progress".

The buttons on this page lead to stake.us. That is a separate site run by a different company, Sweepsteaks Limited of Cyprus. Its terms say it offers no real-money gambling: it uses Gold Coins, which have no cash value, and Stake Cash, which works as sweepstakes entries. It is open only to players aged over 21 in the continental United States and Hawaii, and its terms exclude 22 states. Players outside the US cannot use it.

As of October 2026, stake.com takes 21 cryptocurrencies and, in some countries, local currency through third-party processors. There is no standard deposit bonus on Stake's own pages. Rewards come through the VIP Club (rakeback and other bonuses), Daily Races and a Weekly Raffle. Two-factor authentication is available.

In short: Stake bars players from 45 places, each deposit must be wagered once before withdrawal, and Stake can ask for ID at any time.

Checked on 14 October 2026 against the casino's own pages: terms and conditions (archived copy, 11 October 2026), bonus terms. Licence: regulator's register.

Cons

  • Our link opens stake.us, a sweepstakes site run by Sweepsteaks Limited, not stake.com

Support, limits and account security

Stake offers live chat 24/7 when you are logged in, and email at support@stake.com. Its help centre is at help.stake.com. There is no phone line. Complaints go to Stake's support team; the terms name no independent dispute service.

Limits and self-exclusion

You can set loss and wager limits (daily, weekly or monthly) and deposit limits. A higher limit takes effect after 24 hours. You can also take a break in play of 1 day, 2 days, 1 week or 1 month, or exclude yourself from the casino or the sportsbook alone for 24 hours, 7, 30 or 90 days, or indefinitely. Self-exclusion closes the whole account indefinitely. Stake considers reopening it only after at least 6 months and a return-to-play review. More on these tools is on our responsible gambling page.

Account security

Two-factor authentication through an authenticator app protects logins, withdrawals and other transfers of funds.

Deposits and withdrawals

The figures in this section come from Stake's help centre, its payments guide and its terms, as of October 2026. The wallet shows the current limits, so check it and the terms before you deposit.

Deposits

Stake takes 21 cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, DOGE, BCH, XRP, EOS, TRX, BNB, USDC, APE, CRO, DAI, LINK, SAND, SHIB, UNI, POL, SOL and TRUMP. It states no minimum and no maximum for crypto deposits, but deposits under $0.01 are not processed automatically. You must verify your email address before your first deposit.

In some countries Stake also takes local currency through third-party payment processors. For Canada, for example, it lists Interac bank transfers and Visa or Mastercard at 5 to 3,000 CAD. Stake does not accept players from Ontario. The methods you see depend on your country. You can also buy crypto inside the wallet through MoonPay or Swapped.

Withdrawals

As a rule, withdrawals go back by the method you used to deposit, and card withdrawals go only to the card you deposited with. Stake states no maximum for crypto withdrawals.

Stake says crypto withdrawals should be processed immediately, but larger amounts may need manual processing and a temporary hold. It gives up to 3 business days for bank transfers, cards and Interac. These are Stake's own statements; its terms promise no withdrawal time.

Stake can ask for ID documents at any time and can refuse a withdrawal until your identity is verified. Its anti-money-laundering policy also suspends an account until KYC is done once it reaches a withdrawal threshold. The threshold depends on the account's risk profile, and Stake does not publish the amount.

Minimum withdrawals and fees

Each crypto withdrawal carries a fee that is taken from your balance. Stake may also charge a withdrawal fee at its discretion, and payment providers may add their own fees. The table shows the figures in Stake's help centre, in coin units.

Stake bonuses and promotions

Stake's own pages show no standard deposit bonus. Its rewards come through the VIP Club and regular promotions. The details below are as of October 2026. Prize pools and rules change, so check Stake's promotions page and its terms before you play.

Welcome offer

Stake's "Welcome Offer" is early access to rakeback: 3.5% of the house edge on each bet, which you would otherwise unlock at the Bronze VIP level. You claim it by entering an affiliate or referral code within 24 hours of opening your account. An affiliate can also attach a deposit bonus with its own rollover.

No-deposit bonus

Stake's list of promotions does not include a no-deposit bonus.

Daily Races

The top 5,000 players on the daily race leaderboard share $100,000 every 24 hours.

Weekly Raffle

You get one raffle ticket for every $1,000 you wager on the casino and sportsbook. In October 2026 Stake's casino page showed a $75,000 prize pool; its help centre lists the raffle as $50K/$75K.

Stake vs Eddie

Players who hit or beat a target multiplier share $50,000.

VIP Club

VIP levels depend on the amount you wager. They run from Bronze at $10,000 wagered to Obsidian at $1 billion. Rewards include rakeback, weekly boosts, monthly bonuses, level-up bonuses and, from Platinum, daily reloads. Sports bets count three times towards your progress.

Wagering rules

Every deposit must be wagered once before you can withdraw it. A deposit bonus usually adds a rollover on the deposit plus the bonus. The multiplier depends on the affiliate and the bonus; Stake's help centre uses 30x as an example. Stake lists many games you cannot play while a bonus rollover is active. Stake's bonus pages do not state a maximum bet for bonus play. Weekly bonuses can be withdrawn without wagering, as long as they are above the coin's minimum withdrawal.

Licence and restricted countries

Stake.com is licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority under licence OGL/2024/1451/0918, held by Medium Rare N.V. (company number 145353). On 14 October 2026 the regulator's certificate showed the licence as active. The certificate shows it held since 9 June 2025 and lists stake.com as the only approved domain. The regulator's licence register, last updated 12 October 2026, lists the same licence as issued on 9 December 2025 and expiring on 9 June 2026, with the status "Assessment in progress". The regulator's public warnings page had no entry for Stake.

Stake's terms list 45 places where it does not accept players. They include the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Ontario, Brazil, Mexico and 19 of the 27 EU member states, among them Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and Malta. The rest of Canada is not on the list. Read the full list in the terms before you sign up. The terms also make you responsible for checking that online gambling is allowed where you live.

Using a VPN, a proxy or false address details to get round a country block breaks Stake's terms. Stake says it detects location and IP masking, and it can close or suspend the account and void bets.

    Games at Stake

Stake has slots, its own Stake Originals and live casino games. It says it works with 260+ software publishers. Game totals change often, and Stake's own pages disagree: one section of its casino page says 6,000+ casino games and another says 1000+. The Slots category of its casino lobby listed 9,646 games (archived copy, 12 October 2026). The table below shows game counts for some providers in archived copies of Stake's lobby from October 2026.

    Slots

Slot providers in the lobby include Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, BGaming, Games Global, NetEnt, Nolimit City, Thunderkick and Play'n GO. Stake's terms let it adjust the house edge of slot games without notice.

    Stake Originals

Stake Originals are 31 in-house games, including Dice, Plinko, Crash, Mines and the slot Tome of Life. Their results can be checked on Stake's provably fair pages and with third-party verifiers. Third-party slots use the providers' random number generators.

    Live casino

Stake names Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live and Animo Studios as its live casino providers. Stake's casino page says it has more than 150 live titles; the lobby on the same page showed 121 (archived copy, 12 October 2026).

    Sports and esports betting

Stake also runs a sportsbook with live betting, esports (Stake's pages list CS2) and racing.

    Does Stake require ID verification?

Yes. You must verify your email before you deposit, and Stake can ask for ID documents, such as a passport, national ID card or driving licence, at any time. It can refuse a withdrawal until your identity is verified. Its anti-money-laundering policy also requires ID checks once an account reaches a withdrawal threshold, which Stake does not publish.

What is the difference between Stake.com and Stake.us?

They are separate sites run by different companies. Stake.com is run by Medium Rare N.V. under a Curaçao licence. Stake.us is run by Sweepsteaks Limited of Cyprus, and its terms say it offers no real-money gambling: it uses Gold Coins, which have no cash value, and Stake Cash, which works as sweepstakes entries.
